Webhook guidance for LYPay API v1 asynchronous notifications and transaction-status updates.

LYPay uses webhooks to send transaction notifications and status updates to participating banks and financial institutions.

The webhook endpoint is implemented and exposed by the participating bank or financial institution so LYPay can deliver notifications securely.

Purpose

Webhooks allow the institution to receive the final transaction outcome when processing cannot be completed within the immediate API response.

When to use it

Use webhook handling when an API v1 payment returns an asynchronous or processing state and the final result will be delivered later.

Integration role

1. The institution exposes the approved webhook endpoint.

2. LYPay processes the transaction.

3. LYPay sends the applicable transaction notification or status update.

4. The institution validates and processes the received event.
